AMEN I was so encouraged to read your feeling and view of Christians in todays world. We should speak up while we can the time is approaching when we will not have that privilege. What a blessing we can be if we rely on the Holy Spirit and Jesus to fillin were we are weak.

'The spirit wrapped in “worship” overpowers any negatives I encounter within the building called church or any of the people therein who may rain on my parade.' I almost walked away from church because this exactly what I am missing (the Spirit wrapped in worship). My goal is to create a new life in Christ, it isn't easy because there are so many bad habits to undo and negative thoughts to replace. But God has been so good, every time I turn around something else is presented to me to help me on my journey...like this website and your blog. Thank you my friend Jesus and all the dedicated people who love you.

Amen
Hallelujah
Dear Sister in Christ
Your words express exactly what I have felt for so long
Praise the Lord for your testimony. It is my prayer that all of our brethren would come to the same understanding and place of contentment in their lives, a fuller appreciation of the worship of God.

hi, I am a leader of a youth sabbath school and over the past few months we have really revamped our sabbath school. It has become more of an organized program which has its pros and cons. But we always begin with a prayer with everyone involved in the program before it starts. i beleive this is one of the most important aspects of our program. Starting with the God firsts is what matters most. God does the rest. Then we welcome them and let them know of any events we are doing. Then we do an open mic "I Saw Jesus" session. This is when kids can come up and tell of any instances in the past week or so that they saw a glimpse of Jesus in someone else through their actions or words. It's a real blessing when people get involved. Then we go into worship music. Oh, and this is all youth led. After music we move to the couches and someone begins the lesson discussion that we get from a college quarterly. Sometimes the kids aren't as talkative but those kind of days happen to all of us. I encourage any sabbath school leaders to continue their programs. It may be hard and discouraging at times, but as long as you leave it up to God, he will work through you in ways unimaginable. It's hard because you can't always see the change, but its there. God Bless!

I have been blessed greatly by this article and i hope there will be more. Some of us, like the disciples left many important things in our lives even when we were young to follow Christ. We are fighting over 'rubbish' now that we are adults and should not be aspiring for any big things. Some of us even refused to take tests and exams on the Sabbath, while others refused to work. Now because of fear of the future(insecurity), we crave to do many things we did not do even when we were very young and more vulnerable. How shameful it is that instead of sharing Him in unity, we are divided constrained by our own selfishness and the lack of compassion. May God continue to bless u with good health and more knowledge in Jesus' name, Amen.

@Mat, Thank you for your response. We appreciate your point of view. Our intention is not to have you see the movie but to give you an understanding on how to share Jesus with someone that may have questions upon seeing the movie. If we are truly supposed to seek that which was lost how can we if we don't have an open dialogue with others about their point of view. Food for thought.

I'm shocked that you are promoting hollywood movie on your website. What on earth do true followers of Jesus have to do with watching movies that advertise & promote the character of Satan. Shame on us if we stoop down to compromising with the world under the pretext of sharing Jesus with others. We do not need to watch Avatar or any other movie to share Jesus & His love for us with others. But rather, what we need to have is a thorough knowledge of the scriptures (2Tim 2:15) & our willingness to be used by God. May God save us from compromising our faith under the pretext of witnessing to others!
